Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - A Fond Farewell

Welcome to the April 2025 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices mentioned are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is A Fond Farewell! My project today features the Bird's Eye View Stamp Set, along with a couple of retiring 2023-2025 In Colors.

This is just a quick bookmark, with a little "jacket", or "pocket" for safe keeping. The Bird's Eye View Stamp Set is retiring, and I will miss their cute little faces and the eyeglasses you can put on them! I will also miss Boho Blue, as it's one of the 2023-2025 In Colors which are retiring. Blue is my favorite color, and Boho Blue is such a pretty color. It reminds me of the Cornflower Blue in the box of Crayons that I used to covet, and actually try not to use, because I loved looking at it so much.

Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Stamp FREE

Welcome to the February 2025 Edition of the Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! You'll see projects in our hop from Stampin' Up! demonstrators around the world--I'm in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (Note: I can only sell to customers in the US, so any prices mentioned are in USD)

We generally hop the first Friday of each month, and our theme for today is Stamp Free! My project today features the Happiest Day Stamp Set, which I chose as a FREE item with my Stampin' Rewards.  Back to my project for today. As I mentioned above, I used the Happiest Day Stamp Set. I actually made the card for the Craft Roulette #252 Challenge - which is a great way to exercise your creativity! A new challenge streams live every Friday. Anyway, my layout was inspired by the sample card for the With You In Mind Stamp Set you see below. I didn't even realize until I posted this picture that I came close to using the very same colors! I was working from memory. One of the cool things about a card like this, is if you can cut all 3 colors of card stock at the same angle at the same time, you can make 3 cards with the order of the colors swapped around on each one.
